Only the FBI and local law enforcement agencies have access to the National Crime Information Center (NCIC database of criminal records). It cannot be accessed by private companies or by individuals. In fact, even law enforcement officials cannot access it except for purposes of an official investigation.   

So, how can Night Hawk Security offer a national criminal history search? Our national search is a multi-jurisdictional criminal history search. It contains criminal records in all 50 states.  However, it does not contain records in every jurisdiction.
